"Monet's Garden," Naoshima, Kagawa

Two weekends ago, seven of us went and stayed in beautiful Mongolian tents on an island called Naoshima. The whole island has been devoted to art so we spent two full days wandering through the gardens, the outdoor sculptures, and the very modern and unique museums.

Ritsurin-koen, Takamatsu - one of Japan's "top three" stroll gardens

The sunny days have been pretty scarce but at least it's beautiful and green. "Rainy season" isn't actually supposed to start until June but it feels like we are well under way.
