Back to Reality

I'm back to huddling next to my space heater after almost three weeks of travel. Cambodia was fascinating, eye-opening, sad, and pretty busy while Thailand was beautiful and relaxing after we finally got away from the swarms of tourists. It is amazing how two countries that seem so different exist side by side. I guess that I can sum up by saying that the trip was comprised of wonderful traveling companions, unbelievable food, almost perfect weather, and a mix of homey, quirky, fancy, and rustic accommodations. I definitely can't say that I was at all ready to return to Japan and the "working world."
